Indian Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Embassy Kathmandu is organizing the 2^nd Mini India Show from the 29^th of April to the 1^st of May 2015. The event will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu.

 

As of now, over 80 Indian companies have confirmed their participation for this fair. For your reference, I am attaching the confirmed list of participants.

 

During this event, CNI will be organizing B2B meeting between the visiting Indian and  local Nepalese companies. Organizations interested in having such a meeting are requested to send the following details to us which we will then forward to the ICC organizing committee.

Please be informed that The Citizen Relief Fund is sending emergency relief materials (food, water, emergency relief materials and tarpaulins) to various quake affected area/districts and is working hard to extend support to the quake affected people - in the most of the affected districts.

 

Many of our fellow citizens have lost their families, livelihoods and homes in this tragedy - which had happened to an unprecedented scale in our life time. The devastation of life and property is massive and our support is not going to be enough - but it will help the people to get some relief from their immediate suffering.

Further more the damage to our nation's historic monuments is one of the greatest loss, during recent times.

 

To help to provide emergency support and also to some extend for the rehabilitation of our citizens, The Citizen Relief Fund, need your generous support. Please extend your good heart - so that CNI can continue to take this initiative to a next level. We would like to count on you to raise funds from among our members including our friends, who would be able to help for such humanitarian cause.

Your support will help people who are at the dare need of the emergency support.

Let's appreciate the fact that there are problems in communication and execution as our secretariat building also suffered damage from the Earth Quake and was not operational for almost a week.

We need to come out with new initiatives - as our secretariat is working under difficult condition and moreover it is also having problem with limited HR presence.

Hope we all understand that there is capacity bottleneck (both financial and HR) - to implement all good suggestions…

 

Hence need proper guidance, as well as support, from all members specially the OB and Council members to make CNI Secretariat properly functional - in a more professional way and be able to deliver what we are expecting.
