Information on Nepal-India Inter Government Committee (IGC) Meeting

Greeting from Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI)

Respected all,

I am pleased to inform you all that Nepal-India Inter Government Committee (IGC) meeting is being held on December at Kathmandu. In this context, Ministry of Commerce and Supplies has urged CNI for agendas to be raised from private sector to be discussed in the meeting. I therefore, would request all concerned CNI members to give suggestions and points that could possibly be forwarded for the meeting especially on the following areas:

1.      Trade Facilitation Measures

2.      Transit Facilitation Measures

3.      Unauthorized Trade Control

4.      Trade Related Issues

5.      Disputes Resolution Measures and

6.      Other related Issues

I would also like to request you all that send your suggestions/points before 11^th December 2013 so that we could forward those suggested points to the Ministry accordingly.
