Request to provide information -Watch- List industries for extension of gestation period

Respected All CNI Members,

 

This is for your kind information that Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has added a component of ‘Watch List’ in loan classification which will be applicable to the industries  whose Balance Sheet is in loss for 2 consecutive years.

 

In this context, CNI had a discussion with the Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. During the conversation, Governor and NRB team are positive to revise the Watch List component and  to extend the gestation period for loss. This will be considered only after receiving details of the industries who needs such longer gestation period.

 

In this context, CNI is in the process to collect the List of Industries with details, who are making loss and needs longer gestation period. CNI, therefore, would like to request to all related industries to provide the details on the same to CNI Secretariat by 30^th November 2019.
