THE ELIMINATE PROJECT
(written by Stefanie Chow, UCSD)

Check it out! The Eliminate Project has their own “What to Share This Month” blog. Click this link or read below for what they want the world to know for the month of March!

This month, share The Eliminate Project with a non-Kiwanis organization.

As a club member you might find yourself in different situations where you need to tell others outside of the Kiwanis family about The Eliminate Project. These resources will help you do just that.

Example Facebook/Twitter posts:

Learn how you can be part of the solution to a preventable tragedy: http://ow.ly/9u1me #elimin8

Join The Eliminate Project and help change the world forever: http://ow.ly/9u1vN#elimin8

The Eliminate Project saves or protects 61 million mothers and their future babies: http://ow.ly/9u1I5 #elimin8

Social media channels are the perfect way to generate interest and encourage people to explore online giving. Let’s spread the word about The Eliminate Project!

NOT FOR SALE
(written by Garvey Su, UCLA)

PEDIATRIC TRAUMA PROGRAM
(written by Triana Crighton, UCD)

What does Pediatric Trauma Prevention mean to YOU? Did you know there are many aspects to and ways to contribute to PTP? Here are some ways to contribute that you may not have known about!

  • Become a Champion of Children! By donating just $10 dollars a month, you can make your club a club of champions and support the life of a young child with some sort of ailment. Make it a monthly club fundraiser and you’ll be surprised how easily you can surpass the $10 minimum!
  • Make a fundraising goal dedicated to Founder’s Day! $500 can buy a safety seat for a child, $250 can buy training for various responders of children trauma, and $100 can buy family education on how to limit pediatric trauma accidents.
There are so many ways to help! Decide what’s best for your club and set it up! Look for more ideas on the official CNH Kiwanis wesbite!

"The brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out; the brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. The brick walls are there to stop the people who don't want it badly enough." ~ Randy Pausch, "The Last Lecture"
