Week of October 8 Update

Hey Magic Kingdom! 

Good lord, we have a lotttt of upcoming events and so this email is going to be PACKED with information. Please make sure to read until the end ;) 

1. CHOC Walk Volunteering 

When: Friday, October 12 (Shifts chosen on individual basis) 

Where: Kia Motors (111 Peter Canyons, Irvine, CA)

What: We are volunteering with the coordinators of the CHOC Walk and we will be in charge of registration, check-ins, passing out t-shirts, etc. etc. This is important prior to the actual walk because we need to get everyone their merchandise and make sure that the day of the walk goes smoothly by doing this beforehand.

***NOTE: This was an event that you had to sign up for beforehand and talk to the coordinator and so I am not sure if sign ups are still available for the day that we are volunteering. 

2. Apple Sorting and Delivery 

When: Monday, October 15 starting at 8:00am until about 6:00pm (You DO NOT have to stay for the whole time, but they do need help all day!) 

Where: Apples trucks will be in the parking lot of the Hilgenfeld Mortuary on the corner of Broadway and Anaheim Blvd. (across from the Anaheim City Hall) 

What: The Greater Anaheim Kiwanis really needs our help in sorting and delivering apples! This is one of the biggest fundraisers that they have! I realize that it's a weekday, but if you can find some time to go and help out that would be great! They are going to be there all day and so come whenever you can! If you are attending, please sign up on this Google Doc just so that I can tell them how many people they should expect!

3. CSU Fullerton 7/10 Split Bowling Fundraiser 

When: Friday, October 19 from 6:30pm until 9:30pm 

Where: CSU Fullerton in the Titan Student Union Underground 

What: CSU Fullerton is having a Fundraiser for The Eliminate Project! Enjoy a night of bowling, ping pong, and billiards while also raising money! Pre-Sale ends this FRIDAY so make sure you sign up on the pre-sale list soon! Prices are as follows: 

Presale: $8- general admission & 1 opportunity drawing ticket // $9- general admission, 2 opportunity drawings, & a novelty pin At-the-Door: $10- general admission & 1 opportunity drawing ticket

4. Crazy Kompetition for Infants (CKI) South 

When: Sunday, October 21 from 8:00am until 4:00pm 

Where: Stanton Park (Stanton, CA) 

What: I feel like I have grilled this into your minds already! You all know what's up! This is a tradition that Circle K has and it's a day for all of the schools in the South to get together and raise money for Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) which helps prevent babies and children from dying of preventable trauma. We will be participating in teams of 6 and we will be playing all different kinds of games that range from jump rope, to peanut butter river of doom, to relay races. It is going to be really a lot of fun! If you are interested in attending, please talk to your Club Board about it and they will be able to sign you up! 

5. Santa Ana College Circle K Dairy Queen Fundraiser: Eat to Eliminate! 

When: Friday, October 26 from 11:00am until 11:00pm 

Where: Dairy Queen in Tustin Marketplace (2939 El Camino Real, Tustin, California 92782)

What: Santa Ana Circle K is holding a fundraiser to raise money for The Eliminate Project! 20% of what you buy will be going to the project so print out a flyer, 

bring your friends, and enjoy some ice cream! The Fundraiser will be going on all day so come anytime! BRING YOUR FRIENDS AND BUY BUY BUY! :)

6. Magic Kingdom Spirit Night 

When: Friday, October 26 from 7:00pm until 8:30pm 

Where: Dairy Queen in Tustin Marketplace (2939 El Camino Real, Tustin, California 92782) // Parking Lot there :) 

What: It's time. Time for us to shine! But before that we need to practice our cheers :P We are going to be holding a Spirit Night for those of you who are 

going to Fall Training Conference (FTC) so that we can learn all of our cheers and make sure that we are ready to take on the rest of the District! Of 

course this is open to everyone, but it's especially important for those that are going to FTC to attend! We want to make sure that we are all on the same page 

and I realllly want us to show everyone what Magic Kingdom has to offer! I hope you all can come out and support SAC Circle K and bring your voices to cheer! :)
