Service Project Updates

Hey Magic Kingdom! 

I hope you all are having a great week so far! MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS TOMORROW AND I AM SUPER EXCITED! I am ready for Fall to start! :) I hope you all have been attending service projects with your clubs and are getting pumped up for Crazy Kompetition for Infants (CKI) South! It is only a few weeks away now so I hope you all have your teams ready and you bring your spirit! Because you know that Magic Kingdom is always the most spirited! Hehehe 

Anyway, we have some awesome projects coming up and so check them out below!: 

1. CHOC Walk Volunteering 

When: Friday, October 12 either the 11:00am-4:00pm//3:00pm-8:00pm

Where: Kia Motors (111 Peter Canyons, Irvine, CA) <--Notice that this is NOT at Disneyland. This is where their office is and that's where we will be working! 

What: We are volunteering with the coordinators of the CHOC Walk and we will be in charge of registration, check-ins, passing out t-shirts, etc. etc. This is important prior to the actual walk because we need to get everyone their merchandise and make sure that the day of the walk goes smoothly by doing this beforehand. 

For those that have signed up already, the coordinator should have contacted you and asked for your shift preference! So your shifts should be set with the coordinator.

2. Crazy Kompetition for Infants (CKI) South 

When: Sunday, October 21 from 8:00am until 4:00pm (approximately) 

Where: Stanton Park in Stanton, CA 

What: This is a tradition that Circle K has and it's a day for all of the schools in the South to get together and raise money for Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) which helps prevent babies and children from dying of preventable trauma. We will be participating in teams of 6 and we will be playing all different kinds of games that range from jump rope, to peanut butter river of doom, to relay races. It is going to be really a lot of fun! If you are interested in attending, please talk to your Club Board about it and they will be able to sign you up!
