Does anyone have any experience gutting a used CNC (CNC router specifically) - or even a new Chinese CNC , with new controllers and software?

If so, what solution/ system did you found worked?

(I.e.I know WinCNC and others have premade packages).

Thanks!

Talk to a Peter Zieba with Analytics Lounge. He obtained an old, massive industrial MultiCam router, ripped out its archaic brain, and stuck in a modern brain. He then proceeded to replace the spindle with an ATC enabled spindle.
