1) AnchorFree Inc是源头, PC Magazine[1]也是引用anchorfree.com.
2) hotspotshield.com可能是承接了hotspotshield的推广业务, hotspotshield.com的注册公司不是AnchorFree Inc, 但域名服务器却是ns1.anchorfree.com,
说明和AnchorFree Inc有渊源.
3) HSS-1.34的fpt文件修改时间2009-12-31 01:56(但cnet.com Date added: December 02, 2009), 可能你下载时hotspotshield.com还未更新链接,
而anchorfree.com已经更新链接.
4) HSS-1.30的安装程序是采用W3i, LLC的InstallIQ[2]. HSS-1.30的版本信息和签名全是W3i的. HSS-1.34的安装程序无版本信息(懒得加AnchorFree的版本信息), 用AnchorFree的签名(但还是懒得加时间戳).
5) HSS-1.30没有时间戳也找不到原始fpt地址, 不知文件修改时间. 查看PE编译时间, 搞笑了, HSS-1.30的编译时间比HSS-1.34还晚23天.

Hotspot Shield is ad supported, so you'll get a big banner ad that lives at the top of every Web page, too.
Overall, we can't give Hotspot Shield a strong recommendation, but as a last resort it might be worth trying out.

看起来是的，w3i的InstallIQ对hotspotshield作了进一步处理（捆绑了3、4个不
知是不是流氓的软件，从18MB缩小到3MB那可能是说以前版本的），所以和官方发
布的时间有延迟。现在来看，或许是AnchorFree Inc对此做法不满，或许是先放上
官方新版，过几天再把w3i编译的版本放上去，再收集一下conversion rate数据
