looks I cannot read the Chinese what wrote, but yes, it is a little bit like google news, but still quite different, e.g. the way to organize the information, and the way to subscribe (not only news categories, keywords, but also the whole website).

Ok, some more feedback:
The home page looks a mess to me, needing to be re-organized;
Columns (tags) are good, but I noticed some unrelated (wrong tagged)
news, though which may not your fault but from the source site;
Channels seems actually "sources", which is not a proper feature, if
your aim is to aggregate the source web sites.

indeed, the landing page looks a little bit chaotic as all different stories are quite mixed. I am still thinking what is the best way to organize the stories for the landing page.

for the news tags, I am still working on the program to analyze the news to get more accurate tags. hopefully I will release a new version soon (around next week) to get the most accurate tags.

I named the sources as channel because the website also supports RSS channels. I would like to use the same definition for both RSS sources and website sources. but maybe I will see if I can find a better name for this.

about the encoding problem of your post, actually I have the same issue with reading some other posts too. tried different encodings, but it didn't work. don't know why.

Maybe display a categorized view as goolge news, categories column
placed at left ( horizontal space is abundant on most wide screen display).
Or, just show a big cloud of tags, or several categorized clouds, with
different size of keywords ( I think you know what I mean ). Maybe a
mess too, but clearer. I think one level of classification is needed anyway.

"Channel" is sometimes understood as "category". Most RSS channels do
organize contents by categories. But as you have aggregated sources and
re-organized them by tags to form new categories, if I understand it
correctly, the original sources could be hided. In fact you have not
listed all sources now, because it will be another mess if the source
list grow larger. The source preference should be put into preference
setting.

Google's fault. You should use a real news client to read Usenet. Most
e-mail clients should have this feature too.

网站来源同质化：我开始这个项目最开始的原因就是解决各大网站同质化的问题，如果需要浏览多个新闻网站就不需要跳转， 节省时间。

关于首页排版， 你建议的排版也不错， 但是就跟其他网站的排版没有多大分别， 而且我针对平板和手机还需要做不同的排版， 工作量大了一点。 我的想法是最大限度基于目前的排版方式来组织新闻。 我准备还是试试按分类来显示， 每个分类在首页显示一定数量， 然后用户可以进行一定程度的自定义。

我保留网站来源的目的是为了一些网站的忠实用户，如果他们只需要某个网站， 可以通过1+新闻来浏览。 以后看用户习惯， 如果大家觉得没有必要保留新闻来源， 再考虑要不要去掉。

争取下个礼拜放出新版本， 再看看反应:) 新版本包括以下更新：
- 更精确的新闻分类分析
- 更加易用的首页定制工具
- 更加易用的首页新闻安排 （按分类显示新闻）

Google news的目的也是一样，不过你无法选择Google的新闻来源，它是完全隐藏
了，这点是你的优势。

像我这样的读者不需要一个像门户一样的首页，而是直接进关注栏目，其他的最多
浏览一下标题。五花八门的图片是最讨厌的（Google news 那种小标题图片还可以
接受），移动设备上更不用说了。首页应该高度可定制。

p.s. “像我这样的读者”应该是小众，其实我都不怎么看新闻网站，阅读还是邮件
形式的客户端最有效率，雷鸟这种邮件、新闻组、网志、RSS|Atom再加日程插件大
一统的信息客户端目前足够了。新闻阅读方面，订全文的就放雷鸟，订标题的放火
狐动态书签。网站形式最主要的优势是双向和横向的交流分享，由于其他协议功能
的限制，还是在网页上才能支持。一键分享、转发、评论到社交圈的功能可尽快加上。

你用Google网页转码看新闻组肯定有问题。指望Google修正bug似乎很困难。

正解:) 很多用户习惯一些长期使用的网站， 或者希望像rss订阅一样来订阅自己需要的新闻网站， 特别是一些专业方面的网站。 这是目前各大门户的短板， 新浪刚刚发布了可以订阅的版本， 但是感觉不是很好用。 另外是海外中文网站， 界面花哨， 大部分完全不支持手机平板界面， 使用起来很不便。

关于界面的考虑， 以后会加入另外两种界面支持: 只显示新闻标题， 显示标题和小缩略图。 等下个版本稳定， 我考虑做新的界面的支持。 计划两个礼拜后发布。

你说的新闻客户端， 我的想法是手机平板应用就可以解决， 电脑上面的话， 我会加入RSS支持， 通过任意的RSS客户端可以订阅1+新闻一个源 （好处是重复新闻过滤）。 目前RSS客户端的问题是， 如果订阅多个RSS源， 需要在不同源跳转， 而且订阅了类似源的话， 会花很多时间来跳过重复新闻。

评论和社交网站分享功能都在计划中， 计划大概八月初动手吧，做起来不是很复杂。 目前主要精力还在新闻词库准备和新闻分析上面， 很花时间， 现在差不多两个多月， 手上的测试版还比较满意， 大概90+%的新闻可以自动分析归类， 等下周上线看看效果。

我倾向标题式；
最好做成光标停在哪个类目就显示此类的新闻；
feed要全文。

嗯， 收到建议哈。 看来你比较倾向于google news的方式。 我目前的精力还没有放在界面上。 目前只是做到刚刚完成基本的界面。 等主要的新闻分析程序完成之后准备着手界面的改进了。
