Description
These stamps are mounted in 45 CPS (London) retired circuit books, all
priced in 1970's GB pounds, which has no relevance to the current market
value. Some book has only one stamp and most of the books are pretty full,
total retail value of whats left over is about 350 GB pounds, lets say it
is 500 USD. Some of the stamp of PRC is priced at a fraction of the
current value, for example, the PRC flower stamp S61 used singles is
priced at 3c, the yellow mountain used singles is priced in the same way.
Many 1 GBP stamps in the lot are worth 4-5$ now. The stamps in these books
covers all China and related area, from Dowagers, dragons to silver yuan
era and ROC to PRC, all provinces, Japanese Occ., PRC Regionals, Hong
Kong, Macao and offices in China, there is even a book of Japan mixed in.
We also saw Manchuko and some other China related material. Minor
duplications. A very good starter mixture of China for the beginner or a
dealer who want to have an instant China approval service. There must be
4500-5000 stamps here. We are starting this lot with only 2c/stamp whereas
we saw some of the early china went for more than 1 dollar. We are selling
these book as received, no cherry picking. A treasure trove for
cancellation collectors as most of the stamps are used. Never mind there
are two Taiwan flying geese and one dowager included. Most of the items
are between 25c-5$, they are cheap material but plenty of it. Bulk lot is
not returnable, buyer pays shipping and insurance. NJ res. add 6% sales
