Out of some half thousand scanned transneptunes, since 1992QB1,
three are named Varuna, Chaos and Ixion. Ixion is larger than Ceres.
This simple delineation of Ixion joins the

Ixion is inexhaustable and masculine in love and sex, with an
unending errection. In positive aspects (Casanova conjunct Uranus)
it can prolong love making up to several (three) days. This means
a great reservoir of personal power, ability to rule over the
futurity (future in making) of many. The tarot card should show
a phallic symbol (a steep mountain) in spring.

As concerns health, Ixion is a "snake when lovers disagree", it
needs great loves and it's phantasmagoria will push him beyond
the curtain of reality when circumstances are below his taste.
In his errands he meets demons, ghostly reflexes /1/, drunken
centaurs /2/; where he will get along with plutinos like him,
better than with centaurs /3/ ... exorcism is applied as part
of the alchemy Ixion showers unto his favorites, in extreme
cases one is liberated from the voladero (false self, ego,
default mind) meaning salvation from the devil /4/ as known
in (some, most) saints, majikians, yogis, gurus /5/ roshis,
lamas, rimpoches; the "mental" health attained giving an
eternal sensei of transcendence where "death" as a disturbing
item on the life menu of the common man changes it's purpose

problems with eyes, tongue, funda-mental loneliness, schizoid
states, haunting, black majik attacks, disagreeable circumstances
wherever they turn to, illusion, disorientation, fatamorgana /6/,
perverse temptation and isolation. A common cure is to eat in
company! Perhaps Christ himself proposed this cure to us
astrologers, often so estranged and proudly independently "uranian".

As concerns career, Ixion's startegy is DIVIDE ET IMPERA, it must
destroy existing concerns, clans, lobbies, lodges, clubs, factions,
cabals, plots, allegiances, fraternities, cults, newsgroups, web
sites, teams, alliances, trusts, blocks, interest groups; and from
the resulting chaos choose and pick his own few good men to form
it's own enterprise, not without bitter struggle and a sword
hanging over it's own head. Religious fanatics are born along
this line, those well meaning fellows that send humanities to
death, schizoid nationalists, new hitlers, media magnates,
islamic terrorists, highlanders, beings of war and chaos.

As concerns majik, the first use ever applied to Ixion was
alchemy. Majikal mirrors and some spirits will help communication
at distance. In a good scientist's horoscope, Ixion will inspire
a machine (or non-machine) for distant communication. We could
use this sattelite as communication base later on. Our solar
system already communicates with distant sources via this
largest asteroid. Besides telepathy, clairaudience, majikal
TV, it must be said (like the Sauron's Palantir) Ixion can
inspire the unripe majikian to use devices that would expose
him to majik black (the Eye of Sauron). Especially malignant

Well, in mythology the male centaurs were certainly a lustful lot (apart from Chiron), quarrelsome and easily intoxicated by just
the smell of alcohol, but as there are so many centaurs and they are bound to show up in a lot of houses in our charts, I wonder
exactly what part they play in the various houses e.g. I have Pholus and Chariklo in the 6th, Chiron conjunct part of fortune in
the 7th, Asbolus in the 11th and Nessus in the 10th conjunct the MC. I don't think it could be sexual in every case, especially
when they occur in the non-sexual houses. I read an article comparing them with some of the outer planets. I can't remember
which corresponded to which as I read it at least a year ago but I remember Nessus being likened to Pluto, one of them was
likened to Neptune, another to Uranus, according to which planet came near to the edge of their orbit.

available and Pholus in the houses (and 2001KX76 Ixion). The ~ sexual ~ post

CHIRON

The sigil of Chiron must be used with care by a balanced and
rather gentle person, soul and mind. Namely, the improper use
of this cryo(ge)nic energies, latent with power, would generate
an astral "cave troll" in hands less noble that Elrond's.

PHOLUS

The Pholus energies are used by a magician to travel incognito,
and nevertheless ascend the wuthlering heights of the spirit.
This energies are also apt for concentration leading to
meditation, and finding clearwaters. The deep secrets of
creation are easily grasped using Pholus, since it travels
far and knows many things, sometimes even making fun of them.

Chaos Transneptune (formerly 1998WH24) in Astrology
(Featuring Chaos in love, health, business, majik with comments).

Chaos in love means what it says, and though a man will dominate
two (or more) women, that brings him chaos in a positive taoist
way. Taoists used to exploit young yin enegrgy and were able to
turn into inorganic beings at the moment of "death". Input two
women, output meditation; just like yin essence marauding taoists
having nothing more to profit from peasant daughters; back to
their recapitulation cave and mountain retreat. Astrological
timing of love falls under this category, also domination
over the reproductive instinct. The tarot card shows shooting
a lion. Silence is golden. Kechari Mudra. Don't talk, just yin.
Great care is to be given to Chaos "rapid" movement and it's
stationary period. Strategy, such as in love and war can be
deduced and attack or retreat decreed accordingly.

Chaos influences health in astrological ways, in that the first
moment determines the last crisis. One is instructed to save
energy. Medical analysis needs a prenatal calculus here. Severe
diets and extreme treatments are not favored. One is encouraged
_not_ to do, skip steps, on daily basis (to store personal power).
Chaos attacks in cases of extreme temperature, lymph disorders,
urinal problems, exertion; always when the critical point is reached
and when the normal person would not have strenght (did not save
energy) to go through crisis. The energies destroying the human frame
are the same that contributed to it's first independent experience.
Chaos rules over the matrix, the warp and woof of (dis)creation.

Chaos encourages teamwork, going through the same routine
several times for the sake of correcting errors, keeping
the faith in the central mission. The typical "workers"
of Chaos are Aleister H. Crowley and Lord Krishna.
A larger religious fund would be the typical moneymaking
experience of Chaos. When charity activities are encouraged
in school children, Chaos is sometimes present. Parsimony
is suggested and albeit the name Chaos (what do we know of
chaos anyway?), the minor planet furthers orderly and
successful fund management.

Chaos in majik is news:alt.magick.chaos
It's tarot card is a Pegasus, it's mission healing of the
dark majickians. In majik, Chaos has a positive influence.
It cures heart diseases, eye problems, dissolves black majik,
surprises the madman to his full recovery, brings peace to the
hurt, despised, deprecated, wounded, anxious, waterless. It
needs some training (abstract, rather than classical), but
acts without hurry. A patient is cured with a peripatetic
roundabout, with a few casual words only or s i l e n c e.
A majikal present can be offered as if in dreams and accepted.
A long distance call acts as majikal initiation. The transneptunes
may act as distant flakes of our own energy to be redeployed
inside our perception coocoon(s).

Chaos Transneptune (formerly 1998WH24) regulates long lasting
relationships, time itself, the intent that keeps the worlds
together. In Roger Zelazny's mythology, the Courts of Chaos
are the root of Amber, the ideal city /1/. In our new mythologies
on the wings of the centaur objects /2/ we can nevertheless
rely on old trees of life where Uranus is whirling chaos
spinning the starry skies coocoon of our majikal perception.

The creation soup's silent chaos is provided by the Saturn
sphere intelligences and Chaos is near if not equal to this
serious karmic task. The ancient trees last forever by being
severed from the place where they belong.

Long lasting decay of a radioactive element almost falls in that
category; almsot, because a very positive process implies no decay.
Perhaps new ways of using long lasting processes pertain to Chaos
mission.

The full moon on May 26th 2002 conjuncts Ixion near Antares
opposing Mercury (Aldebaran) Chaos Sun (Pylenor-Algol-Midas
are `near') TF35. Aldebaran and Antares are powerful stars
even without the `proximity' of (some say orb +-5 degrees in
direction!) Algol and we do not mention Saturn Pluto opposition
(which is exact on that day). Mercury conjuncts Chaos and
Pylenor convincingly near (see the astronomical 0*.GIF gifs)
and albeit Pylenor (a centauress) has many nice spiritual gifts
to share, in times like this it acts more like a bloodbath,
whether in the Burman north mountains, on the streets of
France or in the Algerian dust. From Sicily to Sydney there
is danger and terror. Let the morbid astrocartographer master
pinpoint the exact coordinates. The general trend of this
Full Moon are punitive expeditions in the northern mountains
with a long duration of several years. Thus a long war issues.
