而且, 不是所有的TERM都支持的.
新的VTE可以. URXVT要打補丁才可以 (默認只有96色)
MAC下的TERMINAL.APP不可以. ITERM.APP可以.
而且用GNU SCREEN的話, 還要在編譯時把SCREEN的ENABLE COLOR 256打開.

有一個256colors.pl可以測試你的TERM支持不支持256 COLOR

我现在运行256-colors.pl能看到256色，然后在emacs里list-color-display也能看到256色，不过用的时候没什么感觉，是不是要用对应的配色呢？

CLI is there to make the things easier for you, IF you know what you are doing. If you don't know what you are doing, it is better not to use it.

试过了，支持，木有问题！

不过很不习惯xterm啊

emacs test.c后
就开了新窗口，退出后又回到原来shell的位置了。
屏幕上没有残留了

我一直用term=linux
不习惯这个xterm
