Senior JavaScript Engineer
6 month Contract (possible extensions)
Marlborough, MA
* Development will be focused on Javascript necessary to handle communications between LMS courseware and our LMS REST backend.
* Developer must be highly skilled at front-end engineering using Object-Oriented Javascript and familiar with one or more libraries and frameworks such as (Angular, jQuery, Backbone, Prototype, etc).
* Developer will be primarily responsible for the design, implementation, and unit testing of a Javascript based framework for handling communications between LMS courseware and our REST backend.
Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
* Javascript
* Jasmine/Karma/Grunt
* REST, AJAX
* Angular.js, jQuery, Backbone, etc
* Mercurial / Git
Requirements:
* BS / MS in Engineering or equivalent
* 9+ years of working experience as software engineering
* Proven experience with complex Javascript development
* Proven experience with unit testing and Javascript
* Experience with scalable enterprise applications
* Good skills in designing and developing code/tools
* Works well with others in fast-paced, iterative product definition and development environment within and across teams
* Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work to shared code standards
* Quick learner
* Able to work autonomously
* Good communication skills
* Experience with LMS or SCORM is a plus
