Hosted by Prof. Koopman; sponsored by ECE & ICES
This is a meeting for students to learn about what types of jobs and
careers are available in the embedded computing field. The format will
be presentations from technically knowledgeable representatives of
various companies that make embedded products, followed by Q&A from the
audience. The primary intended audience is seniors and graduating M.S.
students. The planned speakers include the campus research
representatives from four companies:
Robert Baillargeon, General Motors
Bob Disilvestro, ADtranz
Greg Janssen, Caterpillar
Markus Klausner, Bosch
Bill Trosky, Emerson Electric
This event is primarily organized for the benefit of students who are
recipients of this e-mail (largely, students from 18-540 Distributed
Embedded Systems last semester). However, other seniors and graduate
students are welcome to attend, space permitting.
