Based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, the International Students Committee
is an entirely student-run organization founded in 1969 to promote
openness and innovation in the international business community. Its
annual ISC-Symposium, attended by approximately 800 business, political,
and academic leaders, has been a forum for dialogue on the most pressing
issues facing the business community. Some of the past speakers have
included Romano Prodi, President of the European Commission, Helmut Kohl,
then Chancellor of Germany, John Clarkeson, then CEO of the Boston
Consulting Group, Edwin Artzt, former chairman of Procter & Gamble, and
Partners at Goldman Sachs and McKinsey.
