I was wondering if it possible to run OpenFace on Raspberry pi? I want to try out a portable version of OpenFace for a university project.

Thank you.

I have never tested it, but in the documentation it is said the algorithm takes a lot of time (10x to 20x the normal amount of time)
You'll have other problems of architecture that pushes you to recompile many things.

Took me a while to compile, but I ran it on RPI3 yesterday.

Takes about 10 seconds to run classifier.py infer celeb_model adams.jpg.

Link to files needed on my Google drive. It's about 400MB though and includes the compiled artifacts and models.

Unzip to /home/pi/fd_fr and do
$> source env.sh

and you should be good to go. I think it's due to the ascii model that I used but I get lower accuracy than when run on 64bit environment.

For Amy Adam's case, it was 81% vs. 34%.

Enjoy.
