If u are looking at wire transfer option the below response might partly answer your question.

You will get your andrew id 1 week before orientation.

 

However that is like cutting it too close to the deadline. So DD would be a safer option for the first semester.

 

Other views are welcome as well.

Thank you for your interest in the Heinz College.  I am a graduate student
who helps reply to emails addressed to the admissions office.

You will receive your Andrew ID and student ID number via e-mail about one
week before orientation begins.  Once you receive this information, you
can send your photo to the ID card services office electronically.  You
cannot receive your physical card until you arrive on campus and pick it
up.

Hey Guys,

I checked with Guys at hub. Since international drafts take 25 days (Information from HDFC  folks) for clearance, i had send a mail stating that my draft clearance might exceed August 15 deadline

Following is the mail response i got

Hi,

I have a query regarding Fee payment for MISM program starting this Fall.

I am an International student from India and for the fee payment, I
have got a demand draft for the same.(for secure transaction reasons)

When I checked with the bank, They said that it would take 20-25 days
for processing. I will be landing there on July 28. If i pay my draft
on July 29th to the university , it will be credited between August
20-25th.

Is that fine ? It was mentioned that last day for fee payment is due
on August 15th

Should we make the payment by august 15th? or Should it be credited by
august 15th? It would be nice if you can send a detailed mail
regarding the fee payment .

It would be really great if you can answer my query.
