this thread. Where you from, your undergrad college, year in which u
completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. degree, joining ECE-Masters or Phd program.

Hi All

I am Kaushik, admitted to the Ph.D program at CMU ECE. I am presently
(till end of May) working at IBM Systems and technology Lab as Chip
Designer. Graduated from Madras Institute of Technology Anna
University in 2007.

Presently at Bangalore, would be moving back to Chennai soon!

I am Ramkumar, admitted to the Professional MS program at CMU ECE. I
was working till march End at Agilent Technologies. Now taken a
holiday vacation before heading to Pitts ! I graduated from Vellore
Institute of Technology - university in 2007 as an ECE Engineer.

Hi All

 

I am Rohit Srivastava, student of Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University with CS as major. I will be graduating the next week.

 

I did have an admit for MS in ECE, CMU. However, I won't be able to join CMU this Fall due to financial constraints (I did not receive any aid). So, I've already sent a regret. I'll be joining Oracle in Bangalore instead.

 

I joined this group in anticipation of gaining and sharing information as I'll be trying in CMU for the next Fall. However, if the moderator feels I am not the right person to be in here, please let me know.

 

By the way, nice to see you all here. Congrats to those who are finally making it to Pitts!!

@Rohit : Sure, you are welcome to the group. I Hope you know that ECE Department in CMU does not provide any aid of any kind in Professional Masters program. Aid is only for Phd students so maybe, if u want an aid, you can apply for the Phd program next time and I don't know if CMU has the povision of deferring your admit for 1 or 2 semesters but one can always try that.
