Dear IESW Network members,
In our work with the internationally educated social workers, over the past many years, the IESW Bridging Program team has realized that there are relatively few free courses for immigrant professionals trained in human services field to improve their language and communication skills. To address this need IESW Bridging Program has teamed with Colleges Ontario (Occupation Specific Language Training Project) to create a course targeted towards internationally educated social workers, dietitians, physiotherapists and nurses at CLB 7/8.
We are pleased to share with you that George Brown College will be running a professionally infused language and communication course appropriate for health and human service professionals from September – December 2012. This course might be helpful for internationally educated social work professionals working/hoping to work in the social services field.
Permanent residents or convention refugees with CLB 7/8 can apply to take this course. Please review the course details below before sending an inquiry to os...@georgebrown.ca.
