The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Technology Services Division, seeks skilled individuals to perform Election Readiness support services to office computer systems, field system hardware/software and related equipment.

What can I expect to do in this role?

You will: 

• Conduct hardware/software installation/maintenance work, including installation of standard and non-standard hardware/software;
• Conduct imaging of various hardware;
• Perform testing of hardware and software; 
• Maintain inventory of all hardware; and
• Conduct computer deployments/roll-outs as required.

How do I qualify?

Knowledge and Skills
• Experience in a technical helpdesk environment; 
• Knowledge of Microsoft software products, PC desktop hardware, Network and Telecom cabling; 
• Knowledge of installation techniques and methods for hardware/software and peripherals including operating systems, non-standard hardware and emerging technology; 
• Good interpersonal, oral and written communications skills including documenting and reporting; and
• Experience working in a service-desk oriented environment including incident management process and procedures.
