Dear Parish Members,
As has been announced, for the past few weeks ( and also see the schedule, in the October-Nov-Dec, 2012 Parish Bulletin)
the Parish convention and Edvaka mission retreat is being held this week.
The main guest speaker will be Rev. Philip Varghese from Detroit.
All Parishoners (and any related guests) are cordially invited.
1.
Parish convention will take place on October 19,20,21 .
On Friday Oct 19, the convention will begin at 7.30 PM
On Saturday Oct 20, the convention will begin at 7.00 PM
On Sunday October 21, during the Holy communion service.
2.
The Edvaka mission retreat is also being held on Saturday 20 th October, 2012 from 10 am to 1 pm.
Please see the attached flyer. (Lunch will be provided)
3.
October 21 will also be celebrated as Family Sunday .
4.
Thanksgiving offertory collection, by those who could not participate last week,
will also be collected on next Sunday, October 21 i.e family sunday.
Please do come to the convention as well as to the retreat and be immersed in the word of God.

Dear Parish Members,
It is with with deep regret and sadness that we inform, the sudden passing away of Abraham Mathews (48 years) , in Chennai , India.
on Nov 23rd, 2012.
He is the brother of our Parish members :
Daniel Mathew ( Valsan & Susan )
Jacob Mathews ( Jolly & Lovjee , Richmond Hill , Ph : 289-234-1177 )
Let us uphold the bereaved families in prayer and our good Lord Jesus Christ give the family members hope, peace and comfort during this difficult time.
The funeral services are tentatively scheduled on November 25, 2012 at Emmanuel MarThoma Church, Tambaram, Chennai, India.
