Good Morning,

Please be advised that the CMS Web Interface API Prod Preview environment will no longer be accessible effective 5:00 PM EST 1/4/2019.  Starting on 1/7/2019, you may access the CMS WI APIs in the production environment.  Updates to the CMS Web Interface API documentation will be updated on 1/4/2019 to include links to the production environment.

Hi Bill,

On the qpp.cms.gov's UI for Web Interface submissions, there is a notice of a testing period, "TEST PERIOD Any data submitted during the test period will be deleted on January 18, 2019. Download your sample with data to save any progress."

Do the same rules apply to the API? Can we start submitting data for sampled beneficiaries to test the API? If so, will the data submitted during the test period also be deleted on January 18th?

Good Afternoon,

Yes, the same rules apply for the API. You may submit data through the APIs during the test period (Swagger documentation for the APIs: https://qpp.cms.gov/api/submissions/web-interface/docs/#).  As with the user interface, the data submitted through the APIs will also be deleted on January 18th.  Thanks.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The Swagger docs are now available.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
