Hi QPP Team,

I'm having issues with authorizing to the preview api using the same token that works in the production environment. I've went through all the documents and think I'm correctly doing this. Went trying to post the token in the Interactive Documents it's also throwing errors about the Content-Type header. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

Sorry for the delayed response. You will need to create an account separate from production to use the developer-preview environment. Here are the steps:

  1. Create an account at https://impl.harp.qualitynet.org/register/profile-info
  2. Get an auth token using the steps listed here
  3. Link resources (aka an organization) to your account using the SynthMaker API reserver endpoint at https://preview.qpp.cms.gov/api/data-faker/synthetic-data/docs/index.html#/default/put_synthetic_data_reserve. NOTE: It is not posted but you will need a JWT token from the account you created in step 1 on these requests in an "Authorization" header. The request will look something like this:
         -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
         -H 'Authorization: Bearer <your-auth-token-here>' \
         -d $'{
      "scenarioType": "SINGLE_PRACTICE",
      "password": "some-password-for-users"
    }'

    You can test to make sure the organization link was successful by hitting the GET /organizations endpoint. This will return all of the organizations that are now associated to your developer-preview account.
Please let us know if this is unclear and/or if something is not working as expected for you after following these steps.

Regards,
Branon Barrett

I've been trying to create an account on the HARP system and it fails to verify with Experian. Me and other developers have tried and also called Experian but they can never find our verification attempt in their system after giving them the reference number and looking us up by our personal information. When talking to CMS help desk they want a manual identification with sending in different types of identifying information. I'm just trying to get to the developer preview. Is anyone else experiencing problems like this?

Hi - we recently learned the instructions for account creation in developer preview will be updated soon.  Currently, if you can contact the QPP Help Desk and let them know it's a developer preview account with your username they will be able to get you verified.
Thanks!
Laura
