to Developer Group for CMS Web Interface
QPP Team,
I was wondering the procedure for how to submit a CSM Other Approved Reason request using the api and if that is available. I know this year they put the request in the Web Interface. Is there a process for doing this without directly going into the CMS Web Interface portal?
Thank,
Chris

Hi Chris -
No other process, you'll need to log into and navigate to the CMS Web Interface to submit the skip request manually through the data entry page.
Thanks!

I would like to second this suggestion, that we would be able to make API requests for a HelpDeskTicket/OtherApprovedReason through the CMS Web Interface API.
Maybe for next year?
Thanks,
Scott

Thanks Scott, we'll look into it!
Please note there is no longer a help desk ticket number. This is only for the Other CMS Approved Reason request for unique cases that are not defined by other skipped reasons such as denominator exclusions.
Thanks,
Laura

If a skip request has been submitted and/or approved via the web interface how would the api handle subsequent posts for data with this patient without the possibility of overwriting the approved skip?
Are the certain values that should be used to maintain the CMS approved reason status?
