You can leave the column blank and not post the midterm. Then it will calculate the average based only on the 1st quarter grade. Remember, however, that the average must be calculated so that the subsequent grades will be calculated correctly. In other words, the final is calculated on the averages for the quarters; it does not look at the quarter grade.

Hello,
 
I am a CTE teacher at Berryhill School,  a Pre-K - 8 school, and we are teaching a field test curriculum. This curriculum does not have a midterm, however the default setup for my course has a place to put midterm grades in.  I am not sure what to put in this field since I did not have a midterm.
 
Please advise. Thank you!
