Posting Grades

Hey everyone,
 
I am trying to post grades and came across an issue. There is a 1st GP Exam field to enter in the midterm grades, however we did not give midterms. I emailed Colette and the NC wise helpdesk and will let you know what I find out.  Has anyone already done this and know what I should enter into this field?

I did not post any exam grades. I just posted quiz and test grades in the average section only. When it comes time for mark entry you still must check the mark entry box although you dont have any grade there. This will make your grading report complete.

That field is left blank. When we give a summative at the end of the semester you will place a grade in the 2nd qtr exam grade. Midterms do not count as an exam grade just a regular test grade.

Thank you very much! The only button I have is to calculate final and not calculate the average. Was this the same for you?

Yes. Once you post by alpha you should have a 1st quarter grade and then click on Go to mark entry and check the box.  That will report that grade on the report card.

Thanks, I did that. However, from the NC Wise Helpdesk, she mentioned I still need to calculate the average grade.  But I guess that is all I need to do.
