About the 7th IETE ICon RFW-14 : A Brief Introduction
The IETE Bangalore Centre Annual Conference ‘ICon RFW’ is organized to fulfill the need to have an exclusive RF Wireless & Microwave event under the aegis of IETE, to encourage youngsters to embrace this exciting and expanding field of Electronics & Telecommunication sector. The overwhelming response and success of the previous events has made this as an annual event of IETE Bangalore centre. The FIRST IETE conference on RF & Wireless was organized in 2008 in IETE Bangalore Centre. The subsequent conferences were held in different venues across the state. Now, the 7th IETE ICon RFW-14 (IETE Conference on Radio Frequency, Wireless-2014) jointly organized with HKBK College of Engineering, Bangalore is scheduled for 8-10 May 2014 @ HKBK College of Engineering in Bangalore, Karnataka along with an exhaustive tutorial session on RF, Wireless, Microwaves & Antennas.

Prospective authors are requested to send the title of the paper and an extended abstract not exceeding 500 words (max 1 page) of the proposed research papers before 15th April 2014. Upon acceptance of the abstract, the authors are requested to send the full length manuscript in the IEEE 2 column format (full paper submission not exceeding 6 pages, title-24 font, author-12 font, designation & address-10 font, Abstract-12 font, abstract content-9 font, Section headings-12 font, text matter-10 font, references-9 font, figure & table captions-9 font, entire text matter in single line spacing, left-right-top-bottom margins of 1 inch, A4 paper size) with the particulars of the corresponding / presenting authors & co-authors, designations, address, etc… by email to ico...@yahoo.com. Selected papers / best papers of the event may be published in the IETE journals after a stringent review. Participation / attendance certificates / best paper awards will be given only on the valedictory function upon presentation of the paper.
