Thank you for the opportunity for our company to hire at CMRIT. To answer your questions:

The fresher positions available will be for the post of software engineer. It will involve development (mostly in Java or in a web technology) in projects which will be preceded by a training programme. The students will have exposure to a lot of coding. We are looking at matching industry standards when it comes to salary. Hence right now we are looking at the 3 lakh p.a range. Students from any branch will be allowed to write the written test. As for marks criteria, we haven't finalized it at the moment.

What would be the earliest date at which the students will be available to attend a written test ? Once a date is fixed, we can take it forward from there.

Looking forward to visiting my alma mater soon!

I am an alumnus of CMRIT form the CSE batch of 2009. First off let me congratulate you and the placement team on the excellent placements this year. I heard from some juniors that companies such as Sony and C-42 recruited from our college for which i commend your effort.

I work for a start-up company called Tarams Technologies. We specialize in e-learning solutions, mobile applications and web services. Our workforce is about 35 strong at the moment but we are looking to expand our operations currently. I am currently heading the mobile development team here and there are 3 other fellow-CMRITians working for this company as well. 

We are currently looking to hire freshers and are wondering if it would be possible to hold a hiring event in the near future at the CMRIT campus. I understand that the final year students have their exams going on presently but we'd really appreciate it if you'll could reserve a slot for us just as the exams are over.
