Pushing Lab 1

I cloned lab 1 and now I want to add it, commit it, and push it, and get it checked by Travis CI, how exactly would I do that? git init inside the directory then git add . and git commit throws an error saying I don't have permission, though my global username and email match my github account.

Never mind, I read some of the other replies and read the policies section on the lab section. Unfortunate, I was looking forward to committing and pushing and pretending I'm a real developer.
