Expected behavior: The matrix values are changed

Observed behavior: The matrix values are the same

Question: Why doesn't anything I do change the values of the matrix? Right now in the code (46-54), I have multiple random operations to try and find any way I can change the values

You're not storing the result. You should use "sw" for storing the result of relu function. And, make sure that you do the computation and storing before changing the pointer.
