Zoom Q/A

The first week was quite challenging in terms of Q/A during the synchronous lectures and labs.

Zoom now includes channels. We have created four channels for you to join. 

To join 

- you have to sign in to zoom using your SFU login. 

- follow steps below to add yourself to your lab session and the lecture Q/A

- If you would like to address a question  a question start the question with "@PROF"

- If you wish the TA to answer a question add "@TA" to the message

- If you do not add these tags we will not be getting those messages.

If you find anything untoward or uncomfortable in the channels, do not hesitate to inform us and we will take appropriate action.

From here onwards, Zoom channels will be used for synchronous labs and lectures. We will be disabling the meeting chat boxes.

Some of you had advocated for Discord (but discord will no exist past November). Hence, we have gone with this solution.

Reminder! to subscribe to this channel. 

Zoom chats will be disabled during lab and TA sessions and we will be only monitoring these channels.
