In this class, we' re going to work with Linux shell. So if you're on Windows, there are 2 ways to have it:
- Remotely access CSIL Linux machine through SSH (just a mean for your computer to talk to other computers). On your windows, first download and install PuTTy (https://www.putty.org/) program.  Then open the PuTTy program, in the host name field, enter the one of the servers (for example,  asb9804u-d02.csil.sfu.ca). In the port field, put 24. Click open and a shell pops up and will ask you for your SFU ID and credentials.
- Virtual machine. Follow the "VM" section of this link: https://www.cs.sfu.ca/~ashriram/Courses/CS295/tutorials.html. You can watch the video there.
