mini-storages

I need to find a mini-storage facility that has small units
available...around a 5x5 to 5x8 size available. I've called
around, but the only ones I can find in the area I need
(Champaign in the general area of Savoy..within 3-4 miles)
are either large units only, or the phone is no longer in
service. Maybe it's the book I'm using - I only have
McLeods available - but I'm having no luck and time is
becoming critical. Anyone know of anyplace???

I used a 5x8 one at the "National Mini-Warehouses" for about 15 months from
'97 to '98, had no problems with water leaks or security, and the prices
weren't too bad. They gave me a price break if I pre-paid in one lump sum.
(I was getting married and building a house, so I knew exactly how long I
needed it.) They are at 1408 W. Anthony Drive, between Lincoln and Oak St.
(east of the IC rail yard and I think next to the Illinois Power yard, and
north of I-74), which is just a few feet into Urbana. That might be too far
for your liking.

I had the same problem searching for units too. It seems mini-warehouses
are an elastic market in C-U. I never had this problem in Chicagoland.
Anyway, you'll have to check with them on availability-- their number is
356-9600.
