When I first moved to Columbus, we learned of the apartment vacancy
from the board at the Big Bear on North High where the landlord had
pinned the message up. However, now when I look around, I don't see
any of those boards anywhere. You can still see the place in the
Cleveland Avenue Meijer where the board used to be.

What happened to all those public message boards? I thought they were
a great idea, and were often interesting to read if you had to wait
around for some reason. Are there still any around? I don't remember
the last time I saw one outside an OSU department building.
