On 3/12/04 at about 12:30 Pm a bank robbery occurred at the Fifth-Third bank
in the Ohio Union. The suspect implied he had a gun but fled without taking
anything. He met another suspect at the loading dock of the Union and drove
away from the area. The suspects is described as a white male (possible
Hispanic), 25-28 yoa, 5'10" tall, heavy build, wearing glasses.

NOTE: It is illegal to carry a firearm in a state-owned building (for
example, the Ohio Union). It is illegal to carry a firearm on a college
campus (for example, the Ohio State University). It is illegal to carry a
firearm on private property where "No Guns" signs are posted (like the Fifth
Third bank in the Union - and all other Fifth Third locations).

In this case, the criminals broke 3 "no guns allowed" laws - but the laws
served their purpose. They ensured that the patrons of the bank, building,
and campus were all defenseless and easy prey for criminals.
