Hi Alain,

I’ve had a look, and there is a discrepancy in portal_type between the fti and archetypes tool. As FCKEditor looks up the type info from portal_types tool using the portal_type from archetypes tool, this hits that bug. I’ve fixed it by adding a portal_type to the class (have a look at revision 79836). I’ve done a brief test, and this does not seem to affect existing content.

I’m not sure why archetypes is picking up the wrong portal_type, but I’ll see if I can resolve this when I migrate it to Plone 3.

Cheers
Michael

Hi Alain,

Thanks for that. I was aware there was an issue, but not totally up on exactly the problem, as I've never used FCKEditor. I'll try and have a look at it this week, and see if I can sort out the problem.

Unless you have a patch.
Cheers
Michael

Subject: PloneSurvey and FCKEditor

Hello,

(We're working on a Plone 2.5.5 version)

It seems there's quite a misfit beetween PloneSurvey (1.2.1) and FCKEditor for Plone:
- When we try to configure FCKEditor on first install, there's an attribute error "subsurvey".
You just have to uninstall PloneSurvey to manage to configure, and then re-install it.
- In PloneSurvey, when you try to add blocks of text, no toolbar appears: you have to use Kupu Editor (too many dysfunctions with FireFox 3 though... that's the reason why we left it out).

Thank you for your work, and best regards,

Alain Salvatore
