Hi again,

I'm back. My company is making new project in plone3, and I'm required
to implement PloneSurvey. I thought that I'm going to use up lots of
time trying to fix all the problems i had before, so I started making
new PloneSurvey from scratch. Fired up my argouml installed archgenxml
and now i copy, optimize, and paste PloneSurvey code in it. In twoo
weeks or so i think ill have finished product. (im working on more
then one project right now)

I'm making tons and tons of comments in the code.
I'll try to make it as universal as i can.

Hi Filip,

Sounds good. Why don't you use paster instead of archgenxml, and convert
it straight to an egg? Most of the code should work in plone 3, I think
the only changes that would need to be made would be to some of the
syntax for the generic setup profile, as that changes in plone 3. You
can just copy the code straight over then, and tweak the gs code.

Cheers
Michael

Hello

archgenxml makes it easy to create (fix and pach) schema's so it's
great for early stage of development.
I have been reading the code of PloneSurvey for quite some time now
and i see that 60% of it can be two- three times faster, clearer and
easier to maintain.
There are some feature i would like to add, some i would like to fix.
I once tried to fix some of bugs i found, but i went in wrong
direction. now I know what i did wrong and want to make PloneSurvey
optimized for comercial use.

Editing of email templates (and i18n of them)
More csv files that can be opened in MsOffice2007 and OO.o (with
nonascii characters)
Moving validation to .py files
Fixing comments in Survey Matrix
