Nearly all clinicians in hospital or primary care deal with patients with COPD, asthma and pulmonary infection on a regular basis. All such clinicians recognise that these conditions carry an unacceptable burden of morbidity and mortality, and remain difficult to manage.
For these reasons, this symposium was designed specifically to address controversial but practical management dilemmas
associated with common respiratory conditions
