We have two events this week!
Tuesday evening, November 18 from 5 to 8 pm will be the GateHouse Shop
Holiday Open House with a complimentary glass of Smoking Bishop or Champagne
with snacks. The shop looks very festive as "she" has put on her very best
decorations for the season. We have great gifts at very reasonable prices
and estate items make wonderful one of a kind presents. There is an
especially nice selection of almost new children's books.
And on Wednesday evening, November 19 from 5 to 8 pm will be our November
Book Sale. There are lots of "new" books as we have been diligent about
clearing books out for shipment to India. And speaking of India, there will
be a table devoted to the "middle world" - the Indian subcontinent and
Egypt. We also have lots of almost text books plus lots of other books in
every subject.
And in the spirit of the Farm, whatever is left over from Tuesday night
we'll serve at the Book Sale - along with the usual coffee and cookies.

The Holiday Open House is located at the entrance to the Farm. The Book
Sale is located in the office area of the Farm at the end of Colonial Farm
Road at 6310 Georgetown Pike, McLean, Virginia. Please visit our website

only for our book sales. Handheld scanners are allowed but books must be
scanned from the shelf.
