Dear Chinmaya Family Members,

Having just celebrated Gurudev's Birth Centenary on Sunday 8th May, 2016 (Click here for Special Highlights Video), I'm sure we can all agree that we are truly blessed to have received the Vedantic Knowledge of the Scriptures from Gurudev in a way which we can understand, practice and grow.

Gurudev lives on not only in our hearts, but in His Mission and His work.

We need devotees to help keep Gurudev's vision alive - to give the maximum happiness, to the maximum number of people, for the maximum period of time.

Having benefited from Chinmaya Mission and experience the light of Gurudev's love and knowledge, we now humbly request devotees to pass on these precious teachings to inspire and educate the next generations, the future of this world - our children. 

Chinmaya Mission runs many programs to share this knowledge of the Scriptures with the children, youth and adults:

• Our weekly Chinmaya Family Program on Sundays, with classes for Shishuvihar (ages 2-5), Balavihar (Grade K-6) and Junior CHYK (Grade 7-12), CHYK (18-30yrs), and Adult Classes.
  
• Hindu scripture programs at schools, during weekday school hours
  
• Annual camps, including Family Camp, Junior CHYK (Teen) Camp, Holiday Program for kids, Youth Camp, Retreats....
  

We are looking for devotees who can help share the knowledge our scriptures with our children! 

• You do not need any particular qualification - We will provide you with the relevant syllabus, training and ongoing support
  
• All you need to bring is your love and inspiration to share the knowledge, and your committment to Gurudev's vision
  
• The greatest beneficiary is YOU - not only a truly rewarding seva, but teaching also strengthens your own knowledge and faith
  

If you are unable to take classes yourself, you can still help us by lending your house to run a class either on week night or weekend, and asking children you know to attend the classes.
