Job Description
Snow Lake Capital is a leading China-dedicated long / short equity hedge fund with offices in Hong Kong and Beijing. The firm currently manages over USD $350 million capital.  The firm is seeded by Mr. Lei Zhang, the Founder and Chairman of Hillhouse Capital Management.  

Mr. Sean Ma, who founded the firm in 2009, began his career in the Technology M&A group at Credit Suisse.  He then moved to Ziff Brothers Investments followed by a move to a leading New York based Asia dedicated Hedge Fund.

Snow Lake Capital seeks to generate outsize returns over a long time horizon through rigorous fundamental analysis.  The firm takes great pride in cultivating a team orientated, collaborative and humble culture, by encouraging our investment professionals to be team members and intellectually curious.  The firm spends significant time mentoring and training new Analysts / Associates.  Its investment professionals learn and execute the core skill set of long / short fundamental investing that is currently utilized by the world’s most prestigious long / short equity Hedge Funds.  The team frequently interacts with Wall Street equity research analysts, senior management of top public Chinese companies, as well as experts and consultants across various industries. While the working environment may be demanding, it is equally rewarding.

The firm is seeking a Summer Research Assistant Intern to join its Beijing office. The Summer Research Assistant Intern will have the opportunity to work with a first-tier investment team and participate in the research process on a wide range of investment projects. Responsibilities include: 
1. Extensive data-centric fundamental research on public companies
2. Conduct intensive industry research with data from both primary and secondary sources 
3. Frequent interaction with external industry consultants and banks to assist with       data collection and meeting arrangement
4. Coordination of the research process for members of the investment team

Qualifications
1.            A proactive team player with impeccable integrity 
2.            Intense intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to learn
3.            Quantitative aptitude with solid financial and accounting knowledge
4.            Multi-tasking capability with excellent communication and coordination skills
5.            Proficiency in written and oral English
