Host raspberry: rpi 3 B+
Cluster: 4 x pi zero 1

Images tried:
- 2024-07-04-3-bookworm-ClusterCTRL-arm64-lite-CNAT
- 2024-07-04-3-bookworm-ClusterCTRL-arm64-lite-CBRIDGE
- 2024-10-22-2-bookworm-ClusterCTRL-arm64-lite-CBRIDGE

On the pi zero I tried both 2024-07-04-3-bookworm and 2024-10-22-2-bookworm

Problem: P1 doesn't show and I can't connect on it. LED on board is on and the SD r/w LED on the pi is blinking.
I tried to switch positions as well to exclude some problem with the pi and tried different SDs as well.

This is "lsusb -t" output:
/:  Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=dwc_otg/1p, 480M
    |__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=Hub, Driver=hub/4p, 480M

So based on the lsusb output I believe that there is some problem with the HAT? Any ideas?
I checked https://8086.support/content/23/115/en/troubleshooting-missing-pi-zeros-in-a-clusterhat.html and P1 looks clicking as well as the other USB slots?
Should I give a try by desoldering the connector and soldering again or there is some  software trick I can try?

Thanks :)

Hi,

If you "clusterctrl off p1" then remove the SD card then "clusterctrl on p1" do you see a "... Class, Driver=, 12M" line on Port 4 of the "lsusb -t" output for the USB hub after a few minutes?

If you do then it looks to be an issue with the SD card/image.

If you don't I've advise checking the Pi Zero is plugged in far enough onto the micro USB socket again, if you remove P2-P4 it will be easier to see the clips through the holes in the Micro USB socket. Also if the Pi Zero is new it will normally make a "click" sound when it's pushed on far enough.

Chris.
