I followed the instructions on how to usbboot from here:

When I turn on a CM module with 'clusterctrl on p1', I see a new USB device detected in /var/log/kern.log, but no booting logging in /var/log/daemon.log

I am using the CNAT lite controller image on a pi 400, and this image for the compute modules: https://dist2.8086.net/clusterctrl/usbboot/buster/2020-12-02/2020-12-02-1-ClusterCTRL-armhf-usbboot.tar.xz

Here is what I see in /var/log/kern.log when I turn on one of the compute modules.
Just wondering if I am missing a step or something.

I have this resolved, I didn't have my /etc/hosts file configured and now I am able to log into the 3 compute modules (ie: ssh p1)
