ClusterHat, Ubuntu 20.04 and Microk8s

I hope that you are all doing well.  I would like to wish you Happy New Year.

Lately I was thinking if it is feasible to make the ClusterHat working with Ubuntu 20.04 and microk8s.

What do you think about this? Is it doable and worth trying?

I have no idea about microk8s but last I tried to modify Ubuntu for the  ClusterHAT I had problems setting up the network wokring with netplan how it works with Raspberry Pi OS but I'd imagine with time it should be possible.

Hi,

Hope this helps. Basically pi zero is arm6. If u read the thread below, it seems rpi 2 which has arm6/7 may work but might need to build from source.

U can install snap on Debian or raspberry pi os so I d think ubuntu20 is not needed and tbh I think it's going to be too heavy for the zeros.

I have been trying with k3s but without luck. So far I have yet found any orchestration tools that can run comfortably on zeros as agents.
