I FINALLY got around to opening up my PC version of this game after owning it for a couple of years, and when I go to start it up for the first time, I can't seem to get past the Date Release Check. It just fails. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this or get around it? I would rather get achievements (like I did with Asylum) versus Steam achievements. Thanks in advance!
I found a solution: Set the pc clock to 2011 or 2012 and the Release Date check will work. I have tested this on win 10 64bit. To run the Game the compatibility of the Game exe has to set to Windows 7.
Oh, you're awesome! That fix worked perfectly! At first I couldn't connect to live, and then I changed my date back to today and it updated and all. Thank you, realfox! You're the real hero here! Now I can get my achievements alongside Arkham Asylum!
i have done the date time change and have pass the check date, thank you so much, but when i launch the game the live feature doesnt appear or work.i see the live square and when i click nothing happen,,any help
I just got the game for my PC to use LCPDFR. I have windows 10 and I see this is not a new issue, however nothing I try works. I have checked all dates including BIOS and they are correct and well after the 2008 release. It is a legal copy of the game as I purchased from a reputable dealer. It will go to 30% on the release date check and then it fails. I have done it manually and got the completed activation message however the game still tries to run it every time I run the game. I have contacted the SecurROM support and have not had any reply. It's been a while since I emailed them and I sent a second message recently. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated
Hi I have the Release date check failure. I have read about in some other topic but couldnt understand what to do about it. So any1 knows what to do about it? I just have internet but it sais Release date check failure. I have the original version of the game and cant activate it manually cuz I did that and it said it was succesfull but it wasnt
Originally i was connected to the internet, and it couldn't connect so i then used the activate offline. The activate offline screen came up, i filled everything out. I opened the offline activasion in IE on the same computer. When i was done it told me it worked. I clicked play in rock star social club. It then tried to verify the date, it failed. I tried clicking the offline activation button again. Nothing happened.
I am having the same problem. I activated and it went through. When I go to start the game it say's release date failure. I need help to fix this probelm. I've looked all over the net. Should I uninstall or what?
How do you know that? Do you have a legal copy? Anyways that's silly, the error could be any number of things. Especially since he got past the activation it would seem that it's a legit copy of the game.
Im have pretty much the same problem that everyone else is having. I got the retail game for x-mas, installed fine until online release date check came up. Oddly enough it goes up to 30% then quits. I tried the offline activation and got through that and it seemed sucessful but on launch the release date check still comes up and fails and the activate manualy button no longer does anything. I have uninstalled and re-installed and i still get the same results upon launch.
It wouldn't pass the check online, so we generated the activation code offline, it said it worked - but now still doesn't start, saying release date check failure. US support is out until Jan 1. So if anyone knows a solution, please let us know.
The retail copy of Borderlands (2009) uses SecuROM DFA to perform an automatic online-based release date check to prevent pre-release access to the game. The online servers this service relies upon, however, is non-working as of 2019, and this manual tool is required instead.
9. You should be taken on a new web page that says "Your 'ActivationResponse.lic'-file has been created sucessfully" and give you a link do download said license file. Click on the link to download it.
For an accounts payable check, the Check Date is set when invoices are selected for payment. The Issue Date is set when the check is actually printed. Therefore, the two dates may sometimes not match. For example, say an invoice is selected for payment on May 1 but the check isn't actually printed until May 3. The Check Date will be May 1 but the Issue Date will be May 3.
I am trying it using Jira Automation, but although I have found a way to automate the sending of an email when a release is updated, I cannot see how to check it without any release change (periodic check).
Hi Could anyone help me to map Vault Professional 2014 properties (Checked Date & Released Date) which is changed through Lifecycle to be mapped with Inventor Checked Date & Eng. Approved Date in Inventor iproperties. I beleive we can map "initial Released date" property of Vault with Inventor. But the problem is this date will not be updated with mutiple Lifecycle runs. Kindly help me out to find a solution to map these properties.
This is one of my gripes about the file release workflow in Vault Pro. Despite all it's flexibility there is no automated way to map the approver and release date to file properties outside of the initial release. If the properties "Initial Approver" and "Initial Release Date" existed less the "Initial" component, we'd be laughing! I'm not sure why the functionality was only implemented to track this based on Initial release only
I've looked at this problem from all angles and I've found that the best way to handle this aside from customization is to create UDP's (e.g. Released by and Released date) which are assigned to the Category that the Inventor files belong to and mapped to the Inventor iProperties of your choosing. Then, prior to the user moving the file to released state, they edit these properties with the appropriate values.
This would need to be done with User Defined Properties (UDPs) placed on the files, and mapped to the Inventor iProperties. The values would need to be edited by the users as the life cycle is changed. One way to do this might be through the Vault ECO process, but I'm not aware of any way to automate the process from any existing properties.
Hello, I just found out about this idea in the Idea Station, which (if implemented someday) might help with your situation. I recommend that you visit the site, cast your vote and maybe add some comments about how this would help you in the future. Thank you!

Im a PC noob and I got this to work. 1. Search Windows for "proxy" 2. Click "configure proxy server" 3. Click "LAN settings" 4. Check "use a proxy server for LAN" 5. Input this IP: 203.232.208.116 6. Input this port: 8080 7. Run the release date check by launching Battlefield 3 on Origin 8. If the release date check fails, click "retry" 9. Once it succeeds, disable the proxy 10. Enjoy playing Battlefield 3!
When I export the IPS signatures from the R80.10 dashboard, the csv output appears to be generated with two formats in the Release/Update Date columns (columns C & D). I don't recall having this issue in R77. The dashboard view within SmartConsole shows the date format to be DD/MM/YYYY, yet only a subset of the exported signatures follow this format. The other signatures appear to be formatting as MM/DD/YYYY. Along with the mismatch date formats, the values are inputted differently as well, either as MM/DD/YYYY or DD-MM-YY. This makes filtering the output challenging as I show some release dates coming up as December 2, 2019 when it should be February 12, 2019. Formatting the columns after the export doesn't appear to effect the way excel interprets the values (there may be a setting in Excel to address, If so, please let me know. My excel limitations are just not familiar one).
Thank you for your response. Previously I would use the output for metrics primarily. I don't recall having the date format issue in R77. I attempted to change the format of the two date columns to "text" and got the below output.
As long as you know the state where the inmate is incarcerated, you can use VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday). It offers details like inmate/offender ID, date of birth (DOB), race, gender, custody status, location, and sometimes the scheduled release date.
