Sadly, I am pretty clueless about the modern mobile technology, so I am afraid I couldn't help her all by myself and she believes once she would lose her phone, she'd also lose the app and all stickers/everything for good. Which would be super sad and horrible to all of us!
where to savely download the apk again? Is it abandonware and still somewhere available in a legal and safe depository, or can't it be found online on purpose anymore by sony? I am not familiar with what happens to apps when they got disfunct by large companys, do they turn into abandonware then? Sony pretty much seemed to have abandoned the app, I couldn't find it on their website as a download, nor in the app stores I checked.
My latest phone (android) has crapped out on me and, long story short, I have to transfer all my stuff to a new one (also android). This worries me, however, as the last two times I did this I lost all of my sketches. I have already exported all my .sktz files to drive as a backup, but I was wondering if there was a way I could copy the app data directly over to my computer? And then, if possible, I'd like to be able to move it all back over directly to my phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Sketch's guiding principle was that it should be simple to use. Advanced features were not welcome. Version 1.0 had a 16-color palette and a fixed set of about 40 stickers. There were no layers, text, or online features.
The first online features on Sketch were a cloud backup and sticker store, which were both popular. Private collaborations were also added. In order for them to work, your collaboration partner needed to have the app, and thus Sketch was launched on Google Play.
In the app testing forum, art started to appear. To the developers, the thought of art coming to the app was entirely alien to them. They assumed that users would only use Sketch for doodles and stickers. To provide a display for all the creations, the online community was launched towards the end of 2015.
If you choose the first or second option you'll be able to edit the picture with the sticker-insertion tool. You can add lots of funny elements to your image: fake mustaches, beards, hats, sunglasses, and more. There are more than twenty stickers available by default, but you can also download many more.
