I Stay in 65 Aberdeen street and also have 2 way radio's The one is set on 7.1 and the other on 6. I also heard the squawk this morning just after 2. I will speak to my neigh bours in Aberdeen street and try and get them to obtain 2 way radios.

As many of you already know Clubview is being increasingly targeted by criminals and armed robberies are included not just petty theft.

Please speak to your neighbours and get them to buy into this initiative or be the one to take ownership and implement this in your street.
Those of you who are already using this system (Rudolph street and some of Harvard Street) keep up the good work.
We can only make a difference if we work together, so please do not wait for someone else to make the first move, lets take our suburb back!
Those of you who do have radios, please make contact with me and let me know. I would like to build up a radio data base so that we can use what we currently have more effectively.

I had a call at 09:15 last night from Marianna Street reporting gun shots. Other neighbours also heard this. We investigated but did not find any suspicious activity. I was out at a function and returned 1:00 am, drove around but did not see any suspicious activity.
We had another attempted Robbery in Roedolf street again yesterday morning, they are really hitting us hard here.
I spoke to Madie Bester from Columbia street, she is also arranging for radio’s in her street and I believe she has bought one already. I know she has been in contact with you 012 654 6647.
The reception on these radio’s are not great. That’s why I suggested that you work on a different channel for your area. 5.1 or 4.1 or any other. We are on 7.1.0
We should do a test tonight to see if you can clearly hear us on 7.1, it would be ideal to have one channel. If we can’t hear you it will cause disturbance on the radio.
You have my database and you are also welcome to send na e-mail asking if other members have radio’s. I know there are a couple of radio’s in Harvard street.

Morning Gert,
I was squawked at 02h08 this morning on the radio but could not hear any voices.
I went and stood in my lounge waiting and about 2 minutes later did hear voices but it was very unclear.
I responded that I was in Edinburgh road and does anyone need help?
After no reply I took a drive around the neighbourhood and all seemed quiet.
Got back into bed at about 02h40.
Were there any incidents you know of last night or was it just the neighbourhood watch driving around?
If it was the neighbourhood watch then we need to inform them that there are people in other street than roedolf who have two way radio comm’s now.
