Great race this AM!

The Evergreen Classic 5k is always a great race, and it was especially great this year thanks to Club Oly volunteers! Terrific morning all in all...

Also, there is a very interesting article in the new Running Times that just came in the mail (I can't find it yet on the website or I'd send the link) titled "Rethinking the Marathon" or something like that, that makes me wonder why I and so many others feel compelled to beat ourselves up repeatedly with marathons. (The answer might be "because it is there"... ) Anyway, food for thought, as I and others head to Seattle R'n'R in two weeks... .

Where are we meeting on Weds, and around what time? I and my son will be coming from somewhere else, and will get to town around 7:15 or so.

The training group meeting will be directly after club run at marathon
park! (pray for good weather!) so about 7 oclock pm and if there is
rain and poor weather,we will go to the new Merconi's sub shop on
Capitol bvld.cross st Union
