A Beautiful Tribute to Micah-July issue of Trail Runner Magazine

Buenos Dias,   I received a beautiful surprise in the mail today, the July issue of Trail Runner Magazine. This issues features a beautiful tribute to Micah, written by Ultra Marathon Athlete, and Editor-In-Chief of Competitor Magazine,Brian Metzler.   Brian, as Micah share the love of the spectacular, Boulder trails. Brian was graciously supportive when I arrived in Boulder less than a week after Micah's passing. Scott and I later enjoyed his company while we attended the Saucony event in Boston. And, I had the priveledge and honor of running through the streets of Bean Town with Brian and El Coyote,Luis. I was definitely their "mercy run". Every photo of Micah and Guadajuko were some of Micah's favorites. Each photograph, telling a unique story.   Brian captured the raw essence of Micah's passionate spirit, his emotions candidly exposed. However conflicted Micah may have been at times, his genuine love of the Raramuri and our precious Ghost Dog, Guadajuko, always shined through.   This article is not yet available on-line.
