Dear All,

I am pleased to report that the Rotary Club of Ciudad Sandino has approved working with you all on the Chlorinator Project as the local Rotary Club. We are excited to see how we can help facilitate this project moving forward and being as effective as possible.

Please let us know what the next steps are and what you need from us. We are looking forward to working with you. All the best, Becca

Hi Becca,
Greetings from a cloudy and frigid Ottertail. Temps scheduled to be in the 30's at night the next few days.

Good to hear that all went well with Sergio. I didn't have the slightest doubt he would answer your inquiries to your satisfaction, and we are excited to be getting closer to an official relationship Rotary Nica to Rotary USA.

Our thanks to you and all the Rotary members for your efforts to bring this project back to life. If there are any additional concerns after the Wednesday meeting, please don't hesitate to ask us to clarify whatever you need. Do you want or need any of us to be present at the Wed. meeting?

Our sincere gratitude for your interest.

Hi guys,

Good afternoon and greetings from a hot and muggy Nicaragua!

I just wanted to report that I was able to speak with Sergio Romero last Thursday. He and I had a good talk and we got a number of things clear that our Club had questions on. Given the long experience of TACSA and the nature of a District grant, I don't see any problem with our Club being the local Club and think it would be a good experience for us. I have sent our Club a report on my conversation with Sergio and will use our meeting Wednesday to walk through the process with our Club and make sure everyone is on Board. I don't forsee any problems, but want to make sure there's no further questions or concerns. I plan to write you all on Thursday with a firm yes or no.

Thanks so much to you all for your hard work on this, will talk soon! Becca

Becca,

I talked to Sergio Romero tonight, and he will contact you through email. From there you two can decide if a visit is needed or maybe by phone you can solve all.

I have known him and worked with him since I first arrived in the 80's, and he is far and away the best project manager I have ever worked with or heard about, especially in regards to Nicaraguan projects.

Suerte,

Fred

Fred
